Done for a "how to..." project where each person had to make a guide or set of instructions detailing how to do something. The Business Survival Guide is an easy to follow booklet modeled after a composition book, full of various tips and tricks to help someone ready themselves for a professional suit-and-tie meeting.

I collaborated with Aren Marquardt to bring this idea to life. I worked on the layout and body copy/text of the book, while Aren brought illustrations and scanned images to the table for us to work with when creating the booklet.

As part of the project, we were also required to market our book to a company who could use it in their store, in order to get it to a target audience who would find it useful. We chose to market this idea to JCPenney since they have suits and dresses you can rent out from store locations. Each booklet would come included with rental of a suit or dress, and ensure that customers are as prepared as possible for whatever comes their way during a meeting in the business world.
